After Care

HEALS WELL

After getting a tattoo, it is important to treat your skin with love and care, as it is essentially an open wound that requires attention. Make sure to diligently follow those essential steps loyally to ensure an optimal healing process, allowing your tattoo to heal properly and beautifully over time.

STEP 1.
KEEP YOUR SECOND SKIN

For optimal protection, keep the second skin covering on your tattoo for a full 3 days. When it’s time to remove it, do not rip it off quickly like a Band-Aid; instead, gently peel it away by pulling downwards slowly.

It’s normal for your tattoo to appear blurry during the healing process due to excess fluid or ink trapped beneath the covering. Rest assured, this will wash away easily once the second skin is removed.

If you're using cling film instead of second skin, remove it after 3 hours, then wash the area and apply cream.

STEP 2.
KEEP CLEAN AND DRY

Twice a day, gently wash your tattooed area with PH-neutral soap to keep it clean. After washing, pat the skin dry with a paper towel and let it air-dry for at least 10 minutes before applying any cream.

For the next 2 weeks, avoid sweating, hot showers, swimming, and sun exposure to prevent irritation or infection.

STEP 3.
CREME, CREME, CREME

To promote healing, apply a tattoo aftercare balm 2-3 times a day for two weeks. This will help keep the skin moisturized and reduce itching.

Advice: After three weeks, start applying sunscreen to protect the tattoo and maintain its color brightness.
